I stare at the kids that run by laughing. The cold doesn't seem to bother them as they run around throwing snowballs at each other. They run and jump I wish I could too but I must stand here unmoving with only a scarf to keep me warm.
For hours I stand perfectly still and the parents call their children’s names and they reluctantly head home to their houses, leaving me all alone with my thoughts.
As I look into the dimming sky I think about how spring is coming and I doubt I’ll be here to see summer I will die eventually so will all the others like me and only winter will allow more to be born and then they will suffer the same fate as us I wonder what’s the point of even living if you never change anything.
As the day’s role by it gets hotter and hotter Intel one day the ground all around me has turned green and I can barely stand.
Slowly melting my rock eye falls to the ground my stick arms fall out of their sockets then I fall over onto the grass snow flies all over. It’s all over.
